1 The service provider and the scope of these Terms<\/p>\n

These Terms and Conditions apply to orders for printed books, e-books supplied other than on a tangible medium and pre-recorded digital learning materials, as well as courses and consultations, that can be ordered on the website. The specific features and performance conditions stated on the product page form part of the contract. Consumer rights that are mandatory under the law cannot be restricted even by individual terms.<\/p>\n

A consumer is a natural person acting outside the scope of their profession, independent occupation or business activity. Rights specifically granted to consumers do not apply to organisations and persons purchasing for business purposes, unless the law provides otherwise.<\/p>\n

In the Hungarian-language checkout, the language of the contract is Hungarian. The contract is concluded electronically; no separately signed document is drawn up. The Service Provider stores the order data electronically and confirms the content of the contract by email. The customer can download and store the confirmation and the Terms and Conditions; the order data can also be requested from customer service. Data is only available from a customer account if such an account was created for the purchase.<\/p>\n

2 Offers and prices<\/p>\n

The printed book, the e-book, the pre-recorded learning material and the live service are different offers. From the name and description of the product, the customer can determine before ordering which one they are buying. The product page describes the essential features, the total price and any additional conditions.<\/p>\n

Prices are stated in Hungarian forints and are the final product or service prices payable by the customer. The Service Provider is exempt from VAT (subjective tax exemption); no separate VAT is added to the displayed price. The delivery fee for physical products is payable in addition to the product price and is shown separately at checkout. No parcel delivery fee may be charged for orders containing only digital content or services.<\/p>\n

The conditions of discounts and coupons are communicated when they are announced. The statutory restrictions on fixed book prices are also applied to promotions. We do not unilaterally increase the price included in a contract that has already been concluded.<\/p>\n

In the event of an obvious technical or pricing error, the Service Provider communicates the correct data before accepting the order. The customer is free to decide whether to make a new offer under the correct conditions. The Service Provider does not change an incorrect price in a contract that has already been concluded without the customer's express consent.<\/p>\n

3 Ordering and conclusion of the contract<\/p>\n

The customer selects the offer and its quantity, then proceeds from the cart to the checkout. They provide their email address and billing details, and for physical products the delivery details and the phone number needed for delivery. They select an actually available delivery method, check the items and the total amount, and read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n

Input errors can be corrected before sending the order by editing the fields, changing the quantity in the cart or removing the item. After sending, the customer can request a correction at the customer service email address provided. Changing the contract or a delivery already under way may require consultation.<\/p>\n

The customer makes their offer by pressing the order button that clearly indicates the obligation to pay. The system immediately confirms receipt of the order by email. If the confirmation of receipt does not arrive within a reasonable time, but no later than 48 hours, the customer is released from their offer or contractual obligation.<\/p>\n

The contract is concluded when the email expressly containing the acceptance of the order becomes available to the customer. A merely technical notification of receipt does not in itself constitute acceptance. A single email can fulfil both roles if it clearly contains the acceptance. A successful card charge does not in itself replace the contractual confirmation. If an order is not accepted, the Service Provider refunds any amount already collected without undue delay.<\/p>\n

The accepting confirmation contains the order ID, the ordered offer, the amount payable, the performance conditions, a durable copy of the Terms and Conditions and the withdrawal information, and the declaration made for immediate digital or early service performance, if any.<\/p>\n

4 Card payment and invoicing<\/p>\n

Only online card payment is available in the webshop, via the Stripe payment system. The system gives feedback on whether the payment was successful; the bank may request additional customer authentication if necessary. If a payment fails, the customer may try again or contact customer service.<\/p>\n

The Service Provider does not store the full card number or the security code in its own webshop database. It receives the payment-related transaction IDs, status and the data necessary for settlement. The Privacy Policy provides detailed information on the processing of payment data.<\/p>\n

The Service Provider issues the invoice via the Sz\u00e1ml\u00e1zz.hu system and sends it electronically to the email address provided. The customer checks the accuracy of the billing details and may notify customer service of any correction needed.<\/p>\n

5 Delivery of the printed book<\/p>\n

The delivery area for physical products is Hungary. Delivery is carried out with the involvement of Csomagpiac by MPL or DPD. The customer can only choose from the delivery methods offered at checkout. If the checkout only offers general home delivery, the carrier is arranged by the Service Provider; this does not change the delivery fee paid by the customer.<\/p>\n

Home delivery costs HUF 1,890 per order, unless a different, clearly stated offer appears at checkout before the order is placed. E-books and services do not in themselves require parcel delivery. For a mixed cart, the fee relates only to the delivery of physical products.<\/p>\n

Parcel locker pick-up can only be selected if a working locker selector and the pick-up fee are displayed at checkout. A locker address entered in the home delivery address field does not in itself constitute a locker order.<\/p>\n

The committed delivery time for printed books in stock is 1\u20132 working days after successful payment and acceptance of the order. In the case of a different stock or pre-order situation, the exact deadline is stated on the product page before ordering. We inform the customer of any delay without delay; their statutory rights in case of delay cannot be restricted by a general exclusion of liability.<\/p>\n

As a general rule, the risk of damage to or loss of the product passes to the consumer when they, or a person designated by them other than the carrier, take possession of it. In the case of a damaged parcel, please report the problem as soon as possible and, if possible, take a photo. The absence of an inspection in front of the courier or of a damage report does not preclude the exercise of warranty rights.<\/p>\n

6 E-books and digital learning materials<\/p>\n

Before purchase, the product page states the format, length, language, essential functions, compatibility, required devices and software of the digital content, as well as any copy protection and usage restrictions. We also state the method, deadline and duration of providing access and any limit on the number of downloads.<\/p>\n

The customer may expressly request that the digital content be supplied within the 14-day withdrawal period. Their right of withdrawal only ceases upon commencement of performance if they have expressly consented in advance to performance, have at the same time acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal, and the Service Provider has sent the required confirmation. Mere card payment or general acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is not sufficient for this.<\/p>\n

In the absence of such a declaration, the Service Provider does not base the loss of the right of withdrawal on the possibility of downloading. If the customer does not request early performance, digital delivery takes place after the 14-day period has expired, under the conditions communicated in advance. Rights relating to defective performance of digital content are not affected by consent to immediate access.<\/p>\n

The customer is entitled to use the content for their own personal use. Beyond the cases permitted by copyright rules, unauthorised public disclosure, commercial distribution and sharing of access are prohibited. This clause does not exclude free use guaranteed by law.<\/p>\n

7 Courses and consultations<\/p>\n

The description of the offer states whether the course is pre-recorded digital content, a live online or in-person service, or a combination of these. The provisions applicable to digital content apply to purely recorded learning material; the rules on services apply to live teaching and consultations. In the case of a mixed offer, the individual elements, fee components and access conditions are communicated separately.<\/p>\n

Before concluding the contract, the customer is informed of the date, duration, location or method of joining and the necessary technical requirements of the consultation or live course. If the date is to be agreed, the offer clearly indicates this and sets the deadline for scheduling and use.<\/p>\n

Scheduling process and deadline: 3 working days; length of consultation: stated individually for each consultation; online platform: website; length of course access: stated for each course; conditions for cancellation and rebooking: notified in writing to the email address: info@golden-phoenix.com<\/a><\/p>\n

If the consumer requests the live service to begin within 14 days of concluding the contract, they indicate this separately and expressly. The right of withdrawal\/termination does not cease merely because the service has begun. In the event of termination exercised during performance, a fee proportionate to the service actually performed is payable in accordance with the law, provided that the consumer duly requested early performance and received the necessary information.<\/p>\n

After the service has been fully performed, the consumer loses their right of withdrawal\/termination if performance began with their prior express consent and they acknowledged that their right ceases upon full performance. We do not automatically apply a general prohibition of withdrawal to a course merely because of its fixed date.<\/p>\n

For a session cancelled and not performed by the Service Provider, a new date may only be given with the customer's agreement; failing this, we refund the fee for the service not performed. Separate conditions for customer cancellation and rebooking may only be applied if communicated and accepted in advance, and they may not restrict the statutory right of termination.<\/p>\n

8 Right of withdrawal and termination<\/p>\n

The consumer may withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the printed book. If several goods in one order are delivered separately, the period starts from the receipt of the last item. A withdrawal statement may also be made between the conclusion of the contract and receipt.<\/p>\n

For services and digital content supplied other than on a tangible medium, the 14-day period is calculated from the conclusion of the contract. The exceptions relating to digital content and services already performed are set out in points 6\u20137.<\/p>\n

Withdrawal or termination can be communicated by a clear statement at info@szenderedina-thegoldenphoenix.com, at the postal address for complaints, or using the online withdrawal function. The attached model statement may be used but is not mandatory. The right is exercised in time if the consumer sends their statement before the deadline expires. The burden of proving the exercise of the right lies with the consumer.<\/p>\n

The consumer returns or hands over the book within 14 days of communicating the withdrawal to the following address: F\u0151 utca 45, 8394 Als\u00f3p\u00e1hok, Hungary<\/span><\/span>. The deadline is met if the book is sent before it expires. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer. The necessary costs of returns due to defective performance are borne by the Service Provider in accordance with the warranty rules.<\/p>\n

Within 14 days of becoming aware of the withdrawal, the Service Provider refunds the purchase price due and, in the case of full withdrawal, the cost of the cheapest standard delivery offered. The additional cost of a more expensive, separately chosen delivery method is not refunded. In the case of goods, the refund may be withheld until we have received the product back or the consumer has provided proof beyond doubt that it has been sent back, whichever is earlier.<\/p>\n

The refund is made using the original payment method, unless the consumer expressly agrees to another method; this may not result in any additional fee. We do not oblige the customer to accept store credit or a coupon.<\/p>\n

The book may be examined to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. The consumer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond this. Opened packaging does not in itself preclude the return of the book. Any exception for a product made individually according to the customer's instructions requires separate information before ordering; we do not apply such an exception generally to all books.<\/p>\n

9 Defective performance and warranty<\/p>\n

In the event of defective performance, the customer can contact customer service. Please provide the order ID, a short description of the defect and the claim chosen; a photo may help with handling, but it is not a general condition for enforcing your rights.<\/p>\n

When buying a printed book, a consumer can enforce a warranty claim (kell\u00e9kszavatoss\u00e1g) within two years of performance. The defect must be reported without delay after its discovery; notification within two months is considered to be without delay. As a general rule, a defect discovered within one year of performance is presumed to have existed at the time of performance, unless this is incompatible with the nature of the product or the defect.<\/p>\n

Primarily, repair or replacement can be requested, unless the chosen claim is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs. Performance takes place free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. In the cases specified by law \u2013 for example if bringing the goods into conformity fails or is repeatedly unsuccessful, or in the case of a serious defect \u2013 a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract can be requested. There is no right to terminate for an insignificant defect; the business must prove that the defect is insignificant. As part of exercising this warranty right, the consumer may not repair the defect of the goods themselves, or have it repaired by someone else, at the Service Provider's expense.<\/p>\n

Under product warranty (term\u00e9kszavatoss\u00e1g), the consumer may request repair or replacement from the manufacturer of the movable product \u2013 including the distributor as defined by law. The product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it was placed on the market or the manufacturer's description. The claim can be enforced within two years of the manufacturer placing the product on the market; the consumer must prove the defect. The manufacturer may be exempted on the grounds set out in the Hungarian Civil Code, for example if it did not manufacture or place the product on the market in the course of its business, if the defect could not be detected according to the state of science and technology at the time, or if the defect results from applying a law or mandatory regulatory requirement. Parallel double compensation cannot be requested for the same defect.<\/p>\n

The mandatory guarantee for durable consumer goods does not apply to printed books. This does not affect warranty and product warranty rights. A separate voluntary guarantee only exists if the offer expressly includes it.<\/p>\n

In the case of a defect in digital content or a digital service, the Service Provider brings performance into conformity free of charge and within a reasonable time. Where the legal conditions are met, a proportionate price reduction or termination can be requested. For one-off performance, the consumer's warranty claim generally expires after two years, and for defects discovered in the first year a presumption of defective performance applies. For continuous services, the Service Provider is responsible for conformity during the committed period and bears the burden of proving conformity in respect of defects discovered during this period.<\/p>\n

The Service Provider provides the updates necessary to maintain conformity, including security updates, as reasonably expected by law or during the committed service period. It informs the consumer about available updates and the consequences of not installing them. An examination of the digital environment may only require cooperation that is necessary, proportionate and involves the least possible intervention.<\/p>\n

The rules of the Hungarian Civil Code apply to defective performance of live services; in consumer contracts, the warranty claim generally expires after two years. Loss of the right of withdrawal does not mean the loss of rights relating to defective performance.<\/p>\n

10 Complaints and disputes<\/p>\n

Complaints can be made to the Service Provider at the email address, phone number or postal address given in point 1. Oral complaints are examined immediately and remedied where possible. If this is not possible or the consumer disagrees, we draw up a record and hand over or send a copy of it in accordance with the law. Complaints made by phone are given a unique identifier.<\/p>\n

Written complaints are answered on the merits, in a verifiable manner, within 30 days of receipt. In the event of rejection, we state the reasons and provide the contact details of the authority or conciliation board relevant to the nature of the case, together with the possibility of initiating proceedings. Complaints and replies are kept for three years.<\/p>\n

After attempting a direct settlement, the consumer may initiate free proceedings before a conciliation board. As a general rule, the regional board for the consumer's place of residence or stay is competent; at the consumer's request, another board may be designated in accordance with the statutory rules. The Service Provider is obliged to cooperate.<\/p>\n

If a consumer protection infringement is suspected, you can contact the consumer protection authority of the competent government office; information: https:\/\/nkfh.gov.hu and https:\/\/kormanyhivatalok.hu. Contractual claims can also be enforced in court. We do not stipulate exclusive jurisdiction that would deprive the consumer of their statutory rights to go to court.<\/p>\n

The European Union's former online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025; proceedings can no longer be initiated on this platform.<\/p>\n

11 Other provisions<\/p>\n

The texts, images, books and learning materials on the website may be protected by copyright. Their use is governed by the law and by expressly granted permissions.<\/p>\n

Changes to the Terms and Conditions apply to contracts concluded after the amendment. A continuous digital service may only be modified under the specific legal conditions applicable to it. The invalidity of one clause does not affect the validity of the other provisions if the contract can be performed without it.<\/p>\n

Hungarian law applies, but this may not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions otherwise applicable to them. In particular, the Hungarian Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001, Act CLV of 1997, and Government Decrees 45\/2014 and 373\/2021 apply.<\/p>\n
